Gift Tags With Tombow USA and Avery Elle

Hello Lovelies!
Welcome to the Tombow USA and Avery Elle Blog Hop! You arrived here from Heather Campbell. If you stumbled across my blog make sure you start the hop party at the Avery Elle Blog!

For my project I made these adorable gift tags that can be used for many things including presents! The back is blank and is perfect for writing your little message. I used my Avery Elle Dies to create all 5 tags. The die set I used seems to be unavailable at the moment but they have a lovely selection of tag dies such as this Circle Tag Elle-ments Die. The die set I used came with different styles of hole reinforces such as a star, starburst, and flower. I used these on all my tags as well.

Below I will explain how each tag was made and which products I used!
For all my tags I used the Avery Elle Pick N Mix stamp set. To adhere all my elements I used the new Tombow MONO Adhesive + Permanent with it's unique instant start system that advances the adhesive to the tip after every use. I also used a black Tombow Dual Brush Pen to stamp my sentiments for all my tags. Let's get started!

TAG #1

I stamped these adorable lollipops and jelly beans stamps on white cardstock which I previously die cut into my tag shape. Next using the Tombow Irojiten Adult Coloring Sets in both Tranquil and Vivid, I colored in the candy. I used  the fine tip of my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to add little dots of color to fill in some of the white space. To finish off this tag, I added shimmer with my Wink of Stella Clear glitter pen and some pink rhinestones. And finally, I added pink and periwinkle eyelash trims.

TAG#2

Using the adorable gummy bear stamps in the Pick N Mix set, I stamped them randomly in the candy bag stamp. Next using my Tombow Irojiten colored pencils in the Tranquil set, I colored in the candy in pastel colors to match the background paper I used. Again I finished off my card with my Wink of Stella glitter pen and eyelash trims.

TAG #3

I used the star dies that came in my Avery Elle die set and stamped a cute "love u" sentiment along with jelly beans from the Pick N Mix set. Similarly, I colored them in with the Tombow Irojiten colored pencils in the Tranquil set. I outlined my sentiment with a pink Tombow Dual Brush Pen and added some sequins, rhinestones and trims to finish it off.

TAG #4

There are some cute Halloween stamps in this set so I had to make a Halloween tag as well! I used my  Tombow Dual Brush Pens to color in the candy corn.

TAG #5

Lastly, this is my Favorite tag. I wanted to highlight the different fun sentiments that is included in the Pick N Mix stamp set. I love the way I randomly added the sentiments and the lace. It adds a nice touch to the tag as a whole.

I hope you like my 5 different gift tags made with Tombow and Avery Elle, let me know in the comments which is your favorite tag! Now let's get on to the prizes!!

My Last Oddball Art Design Team Project

Hello Lovelies,

As you have read in the title, today i am here to share with you my last project as a member of Oddball art's design team and FB co-ordinator. I had a great ride and met a lot of amazing people in the last year and i am grateful for the experience Lizzy Love gave me as being Facebook co-ordinator.

My last project is for the Facebook anything goes challenge over at Mixed Mediaology and I created a card.

I was inspired by a photo i saw on Instagram posted by @getmessyartjournal where they made a similar background on an art journal page using washi tape. I took out all my favorite washi tapes and decided to try to re-create my own version of this.  I also added scraps of pink glitter paper that i had sitting on my desk from a previous project.

I used a flower i got from michaels a while back and some glitter pieces also from michaels. My sentiment was made using my dymo label maker and i colored up the digi with my copics.

Well, i guess this is it folks. Thanks for stopping by and thank you to Lizzy Love for having me on her design team. On that note, have you heard about the new DT call? There’s been some new changes and awesome added opportunities added and you all should check it out and apply if you are interested in being a part of a great community and Design Team. Good luck to everyone who applies.

I can't wait to see this new design team and all the greatness coming in the future.

Talk soon <3

"Pretty In Pink" ATC Share

Hello Lovelies,

Today I wanted to share some ATCs I made for an instagram swap i joined. We had to make 10 (!) ATCs and the theme was "our style". I thought this would be a challenge for me because A) i never made that many ATCs for a swap before and B) i never made that many of the SAME ATC before. All the ATCs i've ever made were different. But, as it turned out, it was relatively simple for me. I decided a way to mass produce everything in stages and it worked.

 These 2 are my favorites

I won't go into too much detail on how i made these ATCs because I cover it all in my video down below:

I also made these ATCs with the idea of entering last week's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge but i missed the due date. Fortunately for me the theme this week is pink, black, and white so I can enter these babies for this week's challenge (score!).

That's it for me. I will be back soon with a Midori Traveller's Notebook post on why I chose to go this route for 2015.

Hope to see you again!

Jingle Bells Xmas Card: Stampotique Challenge SDC176: Anything Goes, Week 2

Hello Lovelies

For today's blog post I have a xmas card share that I made for the new Anything Goes Week 2 challenge over at the Stampotique Challenge Blog.  It's 'anything goes' all month long so we can enter up to 5 times to win one of two 30$ prizes!

I used the stamp Noelle for this card, she is one of my favorites. I decide to keep it on a simple white background and used some of the Stampotque presents cube and embellishments along with a red border sticker, some washi tape and punch out snowflakes. I loved the look of those snowflakes on the previous card I made so I decide to use them again.

For the sentiment I wanted something sassy to make the stamp so I found this sentiment around on pinterest and used alpha stickers to spell it out.

I hope you enjoyed this card share. I'm busing working on more holiday cards for my crafty friends. these are the cards I have so far, I believe I have 10 more to make, eek!

The patterned papers I used are all mixed, some are from this year and some are not. I was going for a classic Halloween look so the color theme I went with was orange, black, and white/cream.

Here is a video of how I put the mini album together!
