"Pretty In Pink" ATC Share

Hello Lovelies,

Today I wanted to share some ATCs I made for an instagram swap i joined. We had to make 10 (!) ATCs and the theme was "our style". I thought this would be a challenge for me because A) i never made that many ATCs for a swap before and B) i never made that many of the SAME ATC before. All the ATCs i've ever made were different. But, as it turned out, it was relatively simple for me. I decided a way to mass produce everything in stages and it worked.

 These 2 are my favorites

I won't go into too much detail on how i made these ATCs because I cover it all in my video down below:

I also made these ATCs with the idea of entering last week's Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge but i missed the due date. Fortunately for me the theme this week is pink, black, and white so I can enter these babies for this week's challenge (score!).

That's it for me. I will be back soon with a Midori Traveller's Notebook post on why I chose to go this route for 2015.

Hope to see you again!

Halloween ATC Tutorial {Best Costume Awards} | Halloween Craft Series #5

Hello Ghoulies!

Welcome back to another halloween craft series post! But first, happy October! I am so excited that fall is here and halloween is on the way. I love October and have so many Halloween projects in mind, I just love crafting during this time of the year.

For today's  5th project I created Halloween ATC for a Stampotique swap. I had a lot of fun playing around with paints which I haven't really done in a while and created some fun backgrounds with stencils and modelling paste. Here is a look at what I made:

I even made matching envelopes to go with each ATC.

Here is the best costume:

Here is the cutest costume:

And here is the scariest costume:

And of course I have a process video up as well:

That's all for today. Let me know which ATC or should I say your favourite costume is :)

I will be entering this in the Stampotique Halloween Challenge as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sing A Song | Stampotique ATC Swap

Hello Lovelies,

I must admit I haven't been feeling the best again so I haven't been making much projects or youtube videos. I became sick again for the 2nd time this month but I am starting to feel better. So I joined a Stampotique ATC swap for the month of July and the theme is "Sing a Song". Not gonna lie, it took me a long time to make these 2 little ATCs  but I like how they turned out.  I will be entering these ATCs in different challenges. For the Sing a Song swap I decided to use song lyrics/song titles.

This first ATC will be entered in Haunted Design House "number of the beast" challenge to celebrate the 666+1 followers. You had to use a monster or beastie or anything that you  can be inspired with from the challenge name.

So I used Mink by Stampotique because she gives off a creepy beastie feel and I love it! And my song lyric is from the song "Skulls"  by one of my favourite bands The Misfits. I hope it is beastie enough. The background was made using gel medium and a Tim Holtz stencil called Shattered. I love how it turned out and I applied my own homemade high flow acrylic black paint on top.

For my second ATC I made it with the new Stampotique Challenge in mind. The theme is "love, anniversary, wedding" and I went with love.

The song I picked is called "Give Me Love" by another one of my favorite bands The Used. The heart in the background was made from one of my homemade Gelli Plate and I just stamped on it and cut out heart shapes. I used various heart punches and glitter tape to punch out hearts. And I love the little acrylic flower on her hair. The stamp I used is Chicken by Stampotique.

I will also enter this ATC in Simon Says "anything goes" challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Time Warp ATC Swap {Stampotique}

Hello Lovelies,

Hope everyone is having a great Friday! Today will be a good day for me because the wait is finally over…. Veronica Mars the Movie is finally out today and I can't wait to watch it!! Even if that means I have to go alone, never did that before but it should be fun.

As you may know, I have a love for Stampotique Originals stamps and on their Facebook page they host ATC swaps. I recently discovered this and was immediately interest in participating. They have some amazingly talented people on there and I would love to receive an ATC from one of them.

The theme for this ATC swap is "time warp" inspired by my favorite movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!! How amazing is that!! I was so excited to participate.

{Can you guess which stamps are doing the time warp?}

I had to use my favorite colors on this one, purple and magenta (which is alway my favorite character from the movie!)

Want to see how this bad boy came to life? Watch this!

I am also a part of a personal Rocky Horror swap with someone on the Facebook group and I get to use my Octopode Factory RHPS stamps! So excited! Will post that once I'm done.

Peace out!
Serena

Stay Creepy

Hi Ghoulies!

I'm here today with a ATC share. I am part of a swap with my friend Crystal and we decided to make creepy ATCs for each other. This is the one I made for her. I will be entering it in the Stampotique ATC Challenge . I am also entering it in the recent Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is to use a rubber or clear stamp. And in the Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge blog the theme this week is cute and creepy, how perfect is that! I am also entering it at Paper Issues Halloween link up Giveaway!

I made the background using 3 different colors of Silks Acrylic Glaze and made the black and white border using sharpies and pens.

I used Stampotique's Mothloved By Daniel Torrente.

I then added some wood veneers that I colored in black and added some black glitter.

Thanks for stopping by!
