I am following along with the challenges over at the stampotique blog and decided to make a Christmas card for each week. All month long their theme is anything goes so that means you can enter up to 5 times!
I made a shaker card using Dweeze and the christmas cube stamps.
Today I have a Christmas card to share. I made this card for the new Stampotique challenge. For this challenge we were asked to create your own striped background and I decided to create my own with paint. Remember to click the link to play along with the new challenge.
I love how it turned out. I love the added touch of the thin gold washi tape.
Today I have my last project for my guest designer spot for the Octopode Factory. For those of you who don't know, Lily Chilvers who is the designer of The Octopode Factory, has asked me to be a guest designer for her new summer nautical digital stamps! I had such a blast working with these summer digital stamps and I hope you all can give them a try too!

I created a more fancy card with lots more elements than I normally do. I learned that I really enough making more elaborate cards.

This time I made an art journal page. I was really inspired by the octopus digi and all the fishes so I wanted to make an under the sea page. I truly love the ocean, going to the beach, and swimming, I swear I was a mermaid in my past life (one could hope!)
The sentiment was just something that came to me when working on this page.
Love this octopus!
Love how I created the sea floor, it's so dimensional and sparkly.
Here is a video so you can see how this page was made:
For today's post I have a quick card share. I need to start growing my card inventory for when I have happy mail to send out so I started with this cute card I made for Stampotique's new challenge: Pink, Turquoise and Polka Dots. Make sure to check them out and you could win a great prize.
I started with a plain white card base and used Distress Paint in Picked Raspberries and Silks Acrylic Glaze in Guatemalan Green which is actually a gorgeous turquoise-y color and I used some punchinella and my new dots stencil to create my polka dots. I just had fun with the stencils and decided to layer the colors.
The stamp I used is called Kitty Squad and I colored them up with my copics and added some stickles and wink of stella to them.
I then added some glitter ribbon tape and black polka dot fabric tape and stamped "hi there" with a new alphabet set I recently bought.
The theme for this challenge is EASTER/SPRING. You could enter any recent project you made along as it fits in with the theme of Easter, easy right? I bet a lot of you are making many easter cards so make sure to enter them into our challenge for a chance to win 3 free digital stamps of your choice!!
So come on, choose a digi and play along! You have plenty of time to join; the challenge will end on May 14th!
For my DT project, I wanted to showcase this amazing zombie bunny digi that comes with the Zombie Girl Digi. She is so cute! So I made a 6x6 Easter card. I have a process video down below showing exactly what I used and did to create this card. I also show how I colored in the bunny using my Copic markers and Spectrum Noirs.
One thing that may not show up in some of the pictures is that I added Glossy Accents to her heart and added Wink of Stella all over the outline of the bunny, so she is super shimmery!
This is the main image the bunny came with. I added her to the inside of the card.

Hope everyone is having a great Friday! Today will be a good day for me because the wait is finally over…. Veronica Mars the Movie is finally out today and I can't wait to watch it!! Even if that means I have to go alone, never did that before but it should be fun.
As you may know, I have a love for Stampotique Originals stamps and on their Facebook page they host ATC swaps. I recently discovered this and was immediately interest in participating. They have some amazingly talented people on there and I would love to receive an ATC from one of them.
The theme for this ATC swap is "time warp" inspired by my favorite movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!! How amazing is that!! I was so excited to participate.
{Can you guess which stamps are doing the time warp?}
I had to use my favorite colors on this one, purple and magenta (which is alway my favorite character from the movie!)
Want to see how this bad boy came to life? Watch this!
I am also a part of a personal Rocky Horror swap with someone on the Facebook group and I get to use my Octopode Factory RHPS stamps! So excited! Will post that once I'm done.
