Guest Designer For Tombow Video Challenge

Hello lovelies!

This past Friday I was fortunate enough to be a part of Tombow's Video challenge on their blog.
I was gifted with a generous Tombow designer pack which you can view here

For my project, I decided to make a pocket letter because  it is the best way for me to showcase many different techniques using all my Tombow goodies.

Here is a look at my pocket letter:

For this pocket letter I show you how to color in digital images using the dual brush pens, how to make your own glitter dot embellishments with the Tombow adhesive dots, how to create a water color backgrounds, and so much more. You can watch the video below to learn these fun techniques!

Now it's your turn! Play along for a chance to win an amazing 50$ prize pack from Tombow!! All you have to do is make a project of your choice using 2 Tombow products, make a video and share it on the Tombow blog!

Links to all the products I used are down below:

Thanks for stopping by today friends!

Guest Designer For Octopode Factory's New Nautical Digi Stamps | Project #2 | Underwater Art Journal Page

Hello Lovelies,

Today I have my second guest designer project for the Octopode Factory. For those of you who don't know, Lily Chilvers who is the designer of The Octopode Factory, has asked me to be a guest designer for her new summer nautical digital stamps

To see my first project and for more information click here.

This time I made an art journal page. I was really inspired by the octopus digi and all the fishes so I wanted to make an under the sea page. I truly love the ocean, going to the beach, and swimming, I swear I was a mermaid in my past life (one could hope!)

The sentiment was just something that came to me when working on this page.

 Love this octopus!

Love how I created the sea floor, it's so dimensional and sparkly.

Here is a video so you can see how this page was made:

The digis I used were:

Thanks for stopping by, let me know what you think and make sure to check back next week for my 3rd project!

Guest Designer For Octopode Factory's New Nautical Digi Stamps | Project #1 Masculine Birthday Card

Hello Lovelies!

Today is the beginning of something special I have planned for the month of July. The lovely Lily Chilvers who is the designer of one of my favorite stamp companies, The Octopode Factory, has asked me to be a guest designer for her new summer nautical digital stamps! I was over the moon and so honored to have been asked because I absolutely love her drawing style and digis.
I wanted to do something special because this is the first time I was ever contacted by a company to showcase their work and also because it is one of my favorite companies. So I have come up with 3 different projects for the month of July 2014! I will post a new video along with a corresponding blog post on every week.

So without any further ado, here is my first project:

I made a clean and simple birthday card for my father. He loves fishing so when I saw this adorable fishy I knew just what to put on his birthday card. This digi is perfect for masculine cards. This digi is called fishes and it also comes with a fish border which you will see used in later projects.

I added stickles to really make him stand out.

If you want further detail on how this card was made and which products I used, check out my video down below:

I hope you like my CAS card for this week.
Don't forget to check back next Tuesday when I share a new project showcasing more nautical digis from The Octopode Factory!

Thanks for stopping by!
