Oddball Art Facebook Challenge #3

Hello Lovelies,

Today is the first day of June! Can you believe 2014 is half way done, I definitely can't. So as every first of the month comes so does the new Oddball Art Facebook Challenge! And as usual it is always "anything goes" as long as you use an Oddball Art Digi for this challenge. And you could win  3 free digis of your choice! Lizzy is constantly releasing new digis so there is always so much for you to choose from.

For this challenge I decided to make an art journal page.

For the background I first put down a sheet of black polka dot tissue paper and used it as a clean up page for stencils. I used various sizes of lids and a toilet paper roll to add the larger circles in the background. I then used modelling paste and a credit card to add some textured lines.

To tie in with her zombie-ness I splattered some watered down green paint on the background as well.

I printed this cute digi super big so it can take up most of the page in my  Dylusions art journal. I colored her in with my copics.

I then added some black and white washi tapes and heart gems to finish off the page. And I added some glossy accents to her hair bows and skull.

Dream Deeply {Art Journal Page}

Hello Lovelies,

I am back with an other Oddball Art Stamp Design Team share!
Every 1st of the month we have an "anything goes" using an Oddball art digi challenge over on the Oddball Art's Facebook Page

We were given this adorable Big Eyed Girl digi and she is one of my favorites! I made an art journal page:

Sentiment is from an AFI song
My favorite part are these glittered stars

I really enjoyed working on the background of this page. I have a video where I go through the step by teps  in creating this page, please watch below:

Remember, our month long challenge over at the Oddball Art Blog is still going on. You have until May 14th to enter your Easter/Spring project!

I will also be entering this page on Simon Says Challenge for this week, the theme is Anything Goes.

Thanks For stopping by,
Serena

Feels Like Forever

Hello Lovelies,

It feels like forever since I joined a Stampotique challenge! This week's theme is to use pens/paint. I didn't think I had anything I could use to enter until I looked on my desk, I had made fun happy mail to sent out to 2 winners of my Facebook challenge, click the link to check out my Facebook page. It all worked out perfectly since I used paint pens and regular black pen to do some doodles on the envelopes.

Please excuse the washi tape, I had to protect their privacy.

I know it is simple but I didn't want to add too much in case the post office needed to add stamps and what not to it. On the back I wrote my address, sealed it with washi tape, and stamped 3 dancing skeletons. Hehe, gotta love the skulls!

Thanks for stopping by, you should play along with their challenge!

Oddball Art Facebook Challenge

Hello lovelies!

I'm back with an update and project share. If you read my last post then you would know that I am a part of a new design team for Oddball Arts digital stamps! Super excited, we received such a great response with over 80 participants for our first challenge ever!!  It's still going on so if you want to enter go right ahead! The theme is to use a digital stamp and you have until April 14th to enter!

During the first of every month, we also have a challenge over at Oddball Arts Facebook Page. For this challenge we only ask for you to use an Oddball Art digital stamp. We would love to see people creating with Lizzy love's wonderful stamps so the theme is "anything goes". The prize is 3 digital stamps from Oddball's etsy store of your choosing!

For this challenge I decided to create a standard sized card:

This digital stamp inspired me to create a spring card with fun bright colors. I colored her in with copics and tried doing an ombre effect on her shirt.

I hope you can play along on one of our challenges currently going on. Check out the blog challenge here

And here is the video to the art journal page I made for the first Oddball Art Stamp challenge:

Thanks for stopping by!
