I have a quick post today, I made this birthday card for a friend's birthday but I thought it would be fun to use my Stampotique stamps to recreate her family: her, her husband, and her 2 boys. I Decided to make an easel card simply because I haven't made one in a while. I am entering this card into Stampotique's Celebration challenge for their 150th challenge! They are also looking to fill some guest designers spots with this challenge (wish me luck!).
I was contemplating wether or not to use a birthday sentiment but I had this project life card sitting on my desk so I decided to just go with that so I trimmed it and glued it down to the bottom section of the card. I think it's a fun sentiment to remember to enjoy and celebrate life!
I got a little messy with the background and used my Silks Acrylics Glazes on a piece of black and white patterned paper. I then hand drew a black and white border and used my super thin black and white washi tape to recreate that border all along the bottom half of the card. I think it turned out pretty cool.I also used some heart blink and black enamel accents on the sentiment and on the little dots on the background and I used some enamel accents on their eyes as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
