I know it's been forever and a day since I updated this blog but I have big plans coming soon and there will be more about that at a later date.
This week we are celebrating National Scrapbook day and I have partnered up with Tombow USA, Amy Tangerine, and DCWV to create and share fun projects all week long.
Today I want to share my first ever bullet journal and how I'm making it to fit my own needs.
Recently, I actively started a self care routine of praying, journaling, meditating, and stuff in between. So I decided to create a bullet journal in an Amy Tangerine traveler's notebook to keep track of my daily habits, inspirational quotes, monthly expenses and so much more!
Let's start with how I altered my traveler's notebook!
The Cover
I colored in my Amy Tan TN using Tombow Irojiten colored pencils and the Grayscale Palette Dual Brush Pens in colors: N95, N75, N55 and the Brights Palette in colors: 676,636,703,493,755.
I then covered the back with this pretty blue pattern paper from DCWV's Samantha Rosa paper pad.
To further decorate I decided to add a title to the front cover using more paper from the Samantha Rose paper pad and clear stickers from Amy Tangerine's Oh Happy Live collection.
Inside Pages
As I mentioned earlier, this is my self care bullet journal, a place for me to keep up with my faith, inspiration, and daily good habits. Here are some of the pages I prepped.
I created a little "this book belongs to" section on the first page using the black frame sticker from Amy Tangerine and I wrote out my name using the Tombow Dual Brush Pen color 755-Rubine Red.
I created pages for positivity including a place for journaling about confidence builders (different activities I can do), daily mantras, and affirmations. I decorated the pages with Amy Tangerine stickers and I just love how fly those sunnies look!
I also made a faith inspiration page with strong and motivational quotes about God. I am on a faith journey and these pages are perfect for when I need a pick me up and encouragement from God.
I decorated with some washi tape, Amy Tangerine stickers, and I doodled some borders too!
Lastly I want to share my daily habit tracker. I know the lines aren't perfect but this was my first time creating a tracker chart and I'm ok with it. My plan it to add a dot to each habit I complete every day in May.
I used the Tombow MONO drawing pencil to sketch out my lines before I went over them with a black pen. I later erased my lines using the Tombow jumbo MONO eraser because it covers more surface for quicker erasing.
I wrote down my daily habits and left some room for extras. I also left a place to journal named "notes and observations". Some of my daily habits are prayer, journaling, meditating, chores, exercise, listening to podcasts, and My Fitness Pal. What are some of your positive self care habits? I'd love to add a few more to my list ;)
Do you bullet journal? I'd love to see your journals for more inspiration and if you also have one for self care please share!
