Stampotique Design Team Call *Aka A Dream Come True* (Picture Heavy)

Get ready folks, this is going to be a long one.

Those of you who watch my youtube videos will already know that I have fallen head over heels in love with a stamp company called Stampotique Originals. I love my Stampotique stamps, they are my prized possessions in my scrapbook family and I finally found a company that I love and that fits my style perfectly. Starting in the scrapbook world you see what's most common first, the cutesy stuff and don't get me wrong that's fine but there's not much out there for us darker crafters or people who just like stuff out of the ordinary. That is the main reason why I love Stampotique. They have a huge array of  talented designers with stamps that you cannot find anywhere else. And then you have my favorite, Daniel Torrente his creepy cute images are everything my heart could ask for. I honestly became overjoyed with excitement when I first discovered his images. I finally had found a designer that made stamps that fit my personal taste and style. Stampotique is the jackpot of all things creepy. I just love it so much!

To be a part of Stampotique's design team would be a dream come true! To be part of such an amazing team full of wonderful talented people is so exciting. Being given the opportunity to be part of the design team for your favorite stamp company is just the greatest gift of all. Reading through past dt members re-applications to this call, you can see that all of them had nothing but positive things to say. You can tell that they truly love this company and support and stand by it. I want to be one of those people, I want to be part of such a dynamic and friendly family environment where I can meet new people and learn new techniques and develop my crafting skills. I know I will learn so much and take it all in. It will make me so proud to say that I am a DT member for Stampotique and would mean the world to me.

Now a little about me:

My name is Serena and I'm 25. I am part of the PunkyouGirl Dark Challenge Design Team. When it comes to my crafty style, I get a lot of comments from viewers who say they love my style, but I don't really have a name for it. I love using bright colors in my projects and I also love to use darker or unordinary images. I love to make cards, mixed media and art journaling, smashbook pages, ATCs, tags, you name it! And I can bring smashbooking and art journaling to your design team, which is something that you don't see quite often.

Projects:

For sake of not making this blog post any longer than it already is I won't go into details on how I made my projects. However, if you have any questions please feel free to ask me in the comment section down below. I will be more than happy to answer them! Here we go!

I wanted to do something special for this call and decide to alter an iPhone case! This project also showcases my ability to think outside of the box, which is a criteria for this DT call. I just love Stampotique and this way I can have it everywhere I go on my cell phone!

Here is what it looks like:

I love it so much! I used the Stampotique "Perl" image and colored her in with copic markers.

She's so sassy! I've gotten so many compliments on it!

Next up, I made Halloween ATCs for a swap I recently joined.

Here is a group shot of my ATCs.

I used Stampotique's "Marci" stamp on this card.

In this card I used Stampotique's "Heads" image but you can't really see it because it is in the background. I also used this stamp on the backside of the atc.

This card is my favorite. I fussed over this one for a long time but I love how it turned out. I used the Stampotique "Tetewea" stamp.

And my last project for this call is a fun Halloween card:

I used the Stampotique "Pigtails" image. She is one of my all time favorite stamps.

Before I began this card I was deciding which stamp to use and when I looked at Pigtails the first thing that came to mind was "Happy Halloween... or Something" and that became the inspiration for this card. I love finding inspiration in my stampotique stamps.

Now before we say goodbye, I wanted to include some images of my past favorite projects using Stampotique, just so you can see the different ways I love using these stamps.

So pick me Stampotique! I am a devoted fan and being part of your design team will mean the world to me. I am trying to make it in the crafty world and this position will open a lot of doors for me.

Not only do I meet all of the requirements and duties of a design team member but I can also help promote the Stampotique blog, facebook page and challenges.  I can also help promote on other platforms not yet used by Stampotique. For example, I am active on Instagram and have over 800 youtube subscribers. I can use these 2 platforms to help spread Stampotique to people who haven't yet discovered this wonderful company. I've already had many people ask me on my Instagram and youtube about which company I used in my projects. In terms of which 2 teams I would like to join, I have no preference, which ever team works for me!

So that's it! Sorry for such a long post but I really wanted to showcase my projects and passion for Stampotique.

I will be adding my altered iPhone case into the try a new technique over at the Stampotique Designer Blog

Thanks for reading and making it all the way down here, you rock!

Serena
