PunkyouGirl Challenge: Dark Humor

Hello lovelies!

For today's post I present you with my challenge entry for the Dark Humor challenge which is the third PunkyouGirl challenge for the month of August! For this challenge we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Delicious Doodles! she was kind enough to offer us 4 different images to use!

Now I am not going to lie, this was the hardest of all the challenges thus far for me. For some reason I just couldn't figure out what I would use for dark humor. I was originally going to use a different image and just couldn't think of what quote would go good with it. So I went back to the drawing board and picked a new image. This one is called Mermaid's Revenge. Here is what I came up with:

Isn't she cute? the background was made with some water color paints and then I sprayed using a stencil and some dylusions spray inks in calypso teal and london blue. I then stamped some bubbles with black ink. The quote is from a Misfits songs called Helena 2 and i stamped them using a Studio G alphabet set and I colored her in using my copics.
