I've got a new page done in my Octopode Factory Storybook, which means there's a new TOFF challenge! For this challenge the theme is lovely ladies. I am also entering this page in the last official Altered Alice Challenge, which I have mentioned before is sad news because they are no longer able to do monthly challenges but I am happy to say I was able to be a part of their last challenge.
I was inspired to make this page the other day because I was just feeling like it sucks to be a girl sometimes, enough said, right?
I colored Alice in with my copics but her face got damaged in the process of making this page and I had to redo her face 3 time! I just printed out a new image colored in only her head and half body and glued it on top with gel medium.
i used some gelatos around the pink paper and used Sally's Abc's which is a Lawn Fawn Alphabet stamp set. Again, I wanted to make it as girly and dainty as possible because I wanted to write the sucks in a messy graffiti wall style font. And I outlined everything in pink and/or black.
Would love to hear what you guys think!
Serena
Love your page! The background turned out awesome. I totally know what you mean by how sometimes being a girl SUCKS! Boys have NO idea what we have to deal with ;)
ReplyDeletehi!! thanks so much for checking out my blog. And I know right, sometimes I wish I was a boy lol they have things so much easier for them. but anyway haha girls are better ;P
Deletehi Serena, this is wonderful piece. You visited my blog recently and asked how i make my backgrounds? I usually make my background using a mixture of paint and rubberstamps. Then I collage my images on top of the background.
